Council of State
The Council of State is currently composed of the Secretaries of State who hold the office of Vicar General of the Princely Abbey, alongside other members appointed by the Sovereign. Its primary function is consultative, providing opinions on draft laws and ordinances submitted for examination by the Prince.
It may also be consulted on any other project. Its organization and operation are established by a specific Sovereign Ordinance.
On December 1, 2025, H.E. Najib Kettani, Minister of State and former Chief of Staff, was appointed Vice-President, in charge of the mission to organize the Interreligious Economic Conference.
